Located in historic Glen Rose, Texas, Mesquite Valley Crafters is a family operated home business that provides you with a diverse array of quality handcrafted wood products and pure homemade soap. David and Caleb operate the main part of the business as a father and son shop team making hand turned writing instruments, unique kitchen tools, distinctive home accessories and much more.  Through David's encouragement and support, Caleb started woodworking at a very early age and has been privileged to receive instruction from award winning woodworkers who imparted to him uncompromising standards using hand tool methods. In addition to constructing items you see in this site, Caleb works on completing his schooling, building musical instruments, and playing them, too.
Nancy and the girls also have a part. They process orders, conduct customer service, ship orders and maintain the accounting. Rachel, the oldest, makes soap in their home on a regular basis for the family business as well as a few other small local shops. The girls stay busy with cooking, sewing, painting, practicing music, and gardening as well.
